We welcome the Brumby Labor Government’s support of public transport and applaud its commitment to the biggest investment in public transport since World War II.

We want to encourage the Brumby Labor Government to be bold in its efforts to make transport more accessible to more people in more parts of Melbourne. We believe that better public transport is the best long term solution to spiralling petrol prices and greenhouse pollution.

We urge you to bring forward existing projects and commit to new public transport initiatives to get Melbourne moving greener and faster.

We urge you to bring forward these important projects in the East:

  • Rowville Rail link connecting Huntingdale Station with Monash University (Clayton), Mulgrave, Waverley Park and Stud Park.
